About

Hi I'm Dr Bex McNally.  I'd love to share with you my experiences, qualifications and more so you can get a flavour of who I am.

Mission

I love life, the simple art of being alive is truly beautiful; whilst honouring life can be filled with collateral moments.  My hope is to create sacredness and ritual for the Human experience through all moments, with weaving in the yumminess of Science.

Vision

My own experience with life has shown that both the Sacred and Science are both needed and both equal.

A note on my qualifications and training

I share my qualifications, professional training and areas of study here to give you a sense of the different threads that have shaped my work, my relationship with life and Wyrdology.

For personal privacy and safety, I do not publicly list the training provider or educational institution I've experienced online. This is an intentional boundary around my private life, particularly because I have experienced intrusive behaviour and judgement around personal information in the past.

Copies of my certificates and training documentation have been supplied as part of my professional insurance arrangements, and I hold Professional Liability Insurance.

I also make this choice because I want Wyrdology, and the work itself, to speak for itself. I am far more interested in the quality, integrity and substance of what I create than in inviting assumptions based upon the name, status or perceived prestige of a particular institution I have been trained/educated at.

My work has been shaped by many many years of study across neuroscience, anthropology, psychology, theology, spirituality, herbalism and other interdisciplinary fields. The qualifications and trainings listed here are shared to show the breadth of that foundation, while the institutions behind them remain a private part of my professional history.

My invitation to you is to discern the work of Wyrdology by its scholarship, reasoning, ethics, usefulness and substance, rather than using the perceived prestige of an institution I've studied at as a shortcut for deciding whether the work of Wyrdology deserves consideration.
